Law Student Outreach

The purpose of NTLC’s law student outreach program is to educate law students about the practice of tax law, provide students interested in tax law networking opportunities with practicing tax attorneys, and provide students with opportunities to volunteer with the Taxation Section.  For questions, please contact Nicholas Rogers.

Law Student Associate Program

Law students may join the Taxation Section by paying section dues and completing the Law Student Associate Section Membership Application, which is available from the Oregon State Bar.

Law Student Networking Events

NTLC coordinates casual networking events at each of the three law schools in Oregon to provide a relaxed atmosphere for students and tax practitioners to socialize.

Tax Panel Presentations

NTLC coordinates a panel of tax practitioners to present at each of the three law schools in Oregon. The presentation provides an overview of different areas of tax practice and answers student questions.
