The OSB tax section pro bono committee keeps the section apprised of emerging issues in the low income tax community and provides support to the low income tax clinics for their outreach efforts for those issues.  The pro bono committee also awards the section’s Pro Bono Award.

The Pro Bono Committee is working with the Oregon Tax Court to connect unrepresented taxpayers with pro bono attorneys for limited scope representation in connection with mediations. The Committee will connect volunteers with varying levels of experience, and no Tax Court or tax controversy experience is required. If you would to join the pool of potential volunteers for this program, or would otherwise like to be involved in pro bono tax work in Oregon, please contact the committee members below.
