The Newsletter Committee oversees the publication of articles on the Oregon Taxation Section website, which are then distributed to the Taxation Section listserv. The Newsletter Committee no longer publishes a formal newsletter. The Committee meets monthly, by telephone conference, to discuss topics for future articles and other ideas for content, identify possible authors, assign editing responsibilities for articles in process, and generally manage the process of publishing articles. Committee members generally edit one or two articles each year.
Submitting Content
If you are interested in submitting an article for publication on the Oregon Taxation Section website, contact any member of the Committee. Historically, the Newsletter Committee has preferred articles between 1,500 and 3,500 words with content that is likely to have broad appeal to tax attorneys practicing in Oregon and short columns (generally 500-750 words) alerting readers to interesting developments in the tax world.
